I see nothing but white girls giving the show a 1 star rating. As a biracial woman, (too black for the whites and too white for the blacks) this show really made me feel seen. I loved how messy and REAL the story felt. There was so much to relate too and I can't wait for another season! People need to stop being so sensitive over a Taylor Swift joke that's been used many many times. I highly recommend watching this if you grew up or are growing up feeling out of place because youre biracial and/or the only ethnic person in your school/town. Finally our voices can be heard.
