People expecting a sequel misunderstand this movie. As a retired stock broker I enjoyed it. The first WallStreet was about ‘boiler rooms’ and market manipulation. So called pump and dump trading. Money never sleeps takes place a decade later and is about the 2007-08 Credit Default Swap crisis on Wall Street and the banks that sold the bad loans. It’s a bit melodramatic but still good. If you want a more accurate film on this subject you should watch “The Last Days of Lehman Brothers”
