What a great movie! Finally a movie without a political message! Finally a movie thats NOT woke! The makers of this movie actually honored the original in every way, which I didn't think would happen. I know I already said it but what a great movie! 👍👍 A+

The movie was slick in a lot of ways. I liked the plot, there was lots of action and it could have been epic, in line with say"Independance Day" if not for one thing... wokeness crept into it. The movie was like aliens vs the millennials woke navy. In the begining, most of the US Navy crew acted like untrained, afraid kids with one sailor sheepishly yelling "give me an order! I dont know what to do!" The first sign of bravery was of course not from an American but a Japan Navy Ofc. As you would expect, the millennials were blowing it when litterly a group of real men Gen x and Boomer men stepped in to man up and fight! And in one of the final scenes, fighter pilots swept in for the win...but of course they wernt American pilots...they wete brits! Dammit! The movie wasnt that bad but dammit why does Hollywood hate America so much!

This is yet another one of those woke movies with a message. I'd give it two and a half stars if I could. The movie was long on emotions and intelligent in some aspects but as stated earlier, by the end you realize you just got duped into another movie with a liberal message...this one's message was unity. In all fairness, the acting and effects were excellent... however, the ending left an awful lot to be desired as there wasn't really an ending. It was more like...message of unity delivered.
