Just finished Landman. Billy Bobs a legend but wife and her daughter get annoying as fuck and then there’s that Mexican girl who couldn’t act her way into the role of a tree in a middle school play. Girl was unbearable. The head Mexican cartel dude and his shit accent was redundant .. “you don’t know who you’re messing with homes..” I was overjoyed when Andy Garcia blasted him into the arms of his cartel Virgin Mary. The whole show started strong but fell off. John Ham and Billy Bob should have stayed center the whole time. Great to see Jerry Jones. Then the old folks home storyline .. dear god.

The adoration of this film is further proof of the absence of taste in the American audience. This is the first movie I’ve seen in theater in years and I am reminded why I stick to books. America ruins art.
