Melissa Batson

I managed to last half way through the first episode. That was all I could take. I am an avid Star Trek fan and do not understand how Gene Roddenberry could allow himself to become involved in this lamentable project. I cannot speak to the story line as I only watched one half of one episode. I suspect it will have something to do with an ulterior motive that the Taelons have that will harm earth and a plucky band of resistence fighters. My problem with this show is that the acting was horrible. The actors were able to display all the emotions from A to...well...to B and that is generous. When Boone's wife was murdered Boone showed no more emotion than if she had burned the toast for breakfast. I will say that if the Taelons' plan was to turn all actors into embarrassing representatives of their craft then the series has promise...as a spoof. Otherwise, pass on this one.
