This show has great plots and characters, and the acting is superb, even by minor characters. The plots are complicated, sometimes a little too much so, to the point that some elements don’t hang together or are unresolved. But I can overlook that because the characters are so interesting & acting is so good. Douglas Henshall is superb as DI Perez. He brings to life a DI who is smart & compassionate, tough & sensitive.
