Nick Portaritis

Great acting and cinematography. Though the film lacked a real antagonist which made for an anticlimactic experience. I kept waiting on a conflict that would produce a villain to give the plot some substance and suspense, but it never happened. *Spoiler Alert* The only “villain” in the film had to be inspired by Benny Blanco from Carlito’s Way. And like in that film, he barely got any screen time for a chance to build his character. A shame really because the kid had a good screen presence.
