This show dumps so much on you in the first 10 minutes that I feel like the audience is stupid and needs to get a hefty does of exposition. On top of that, the utter lack of trauma, after living through a disaster like this, everyone is just ready to go, and not a single person looks shell shocked.
Remember Lost? Everyone sitting around on the beach covered in dirt and torn clothes. You could feel just how shocked they were after the plane crash. And that was a plane crash! An explainable event. This is obvious something beyond comprehension yet people are wandering into the woods, by themselves, and not having any sense of fear. It's not believable.
Neither are the events taking place on the surface and the whole thing was just a big disappointment. The only good thing about this show is I now feel like I could write for network television. NBC...call me!
