I have enjoyed this show. Was fun to watch. Similar to Hart of Dixie. My only complaint is the repeated misrepresentation of a nurse practitioner. Through out the show Mel routinely introduces herself as a “nurse”. While that is true it is only half true. She is in fact a highly educated advanced practice nurse AKA a nurse practitioner. By minimizing her position it perpetuates the misunderstanding and value of the nurse practitioner. And it continues to confuse people on the role, abilities, and importance of the nurse practitioner.
