This is the highest you'll ever be able to relate to barbie. Please don't judge by the ratings, I think they are so low because of the animation quality. To me this is an amazing realistic movie, no magical events or animal sidekick just barbie trying to figure out an imperfect life. Social anxiety, being misunderstood by best friends, picking the friendzoned-guy-who-actually-likes-you over the hotty-in-school-jock-guy, trying to utilize the opportunities and finding out your true self are the contents of the movie which i agree might not be appropriate for little kids but it's harmless. And it does still carry the motto of all barbie movies which is being kind to everyone. Overall, it's a fun and light hearted movie with great storyline but i do wish the animation was a bit better.
