Bursting with beauty and talent! Snoh Aalegra's voice (in my opinion) is like a cross between Amy Winehouse, Mary J. Blidge, Norah Jones and the lower octaves of Mariah Carey. She produces wonderful vocals on well made, strongly produced tracks. FEEL's 'Portishead-esc', 'Nothing Burns Like the Cold' was a nice suprise! I have Tricky's take on this rhythm too. 'Sometimes, Feat. Logic' reminds me of some of DJ Jazzy Jeff's early stuff. I dig the 'sassy' sway of the instrumentation in 'Walls', with the vocals on the top. I Love the emotions of 'Worse'. And who hates a good orchestra in the mix of things? 'Recent Times', is like a nod to Alicia Keys. I look forward to hearing more from Snoh Aalegra in the future! FEELS and Don't Explain EP are playing in my car!
