Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 Overall I really enjoyed reading this book. I heard so many good things about it, which meant I needed to read it. This book was nothing like I expected!! I didn’t expect the book to have so much darkness to it. The main topic the book is focus around was domestic violence. After finishing the book I think every single woman in the world needs to read this book at least once. First of all, we need to take a moment to give respect to Lily as a character. She is strong, brave, determined, and has the will power of a god. I also fell in love with the character of Ryle and didn’t expect the plot to go in direction it did. After reading about Colleen’s personal connections regarding the topic, I can see how she put a lot of thought, time, and consideration into the book. The book isn’t a normal romance but it’s something I think everyone needs to read. I highly recommend this book.

I couldn’t put it down. The main reason I liked this book it wasn’t a stereotypical romance book. Boy meets girl and they fall in love. Nope. It shows a realistic view on life that shows the dark, scary and dreadful sides to life people experience. That people won’t want to talk about. But it shows the even in the darkness moments of life you still can survive, and having love in your life will help with the battle of sorrow. This book isn’t all sad. There are some great twists and turns that I wasn’t expecting. There are some beautiful romantic scenes between Sky and Dean which are absolutely beautiful. I won’t spoil anymore. I 100% recommend this book and give it 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
