Interesting documentary, however, even though I don't know much about this time period it seems they rushed over quite a lot with time skips. As a series it would have been good to see it more in depth. Also seems scenes were reused quite a lot. I also think the Japanese historians barely got any screen time when this is about their own history in their own country. I feel the japanese historians might have been able to give more insight as they may have had more access to resources and had a better understanding of the culture
