This movie was breath taking and shows the beauty, creativity and wonder of the minds of African Americans. We have watched it several times and each time I get a different meaning or take away. As an educator it is a great movie for students to watch who have lost hope in such uncertain times, who feel they have been robbed of experiences and opportunities! This movie is not just a Holiday movie but a Message of Hope even when things are not going the way you expect! All of us need and have a Journey in our lives to remind us of HOPE ! At the same time we also have an Gustusion who comes to steal, kill and destroy ones creative genius! Whenever we want to take short cuts in life it will only last for a moment in time! If we are patient , have Faith , persevere and Never give up we have endless possibilities! This movie can been shown in any season because the Message is relevant!
