Logged in to binge watch the series with expectations that it would actually portray the intricate socio political climate under which Netaji Subhash formed the army. Definitely the cinematography is of high quality. However, it overshadows the main theme. One gets the feeling that the intention was to create hollywood like content rather than enhancing the historical storyline. Furthermore, its disappointing that nothing on Netaji was explored in the storyline. All in all, director leaves this somewhere in middle of romance, drama and war story. But unfortunately, ends it with same orthodox climax, that would have been more suited to 90s audience.
