By far, the single worst animated movie I saw that year. This movie falls flat in comparison to its predecessors, which although aren't the best are still genuinely good movies - especially the first one. First off, the animation style and character movement is completely over-exaggerated to the point that it feels unrealistic. The humour in this film is godawful, and is painful at times. Most of the characters are unfunny and have bad comedic timing. The only joke I can see thus far is how a third instalment even got made. But the story is where the movie just becomes a horrendous failure. The ideals from the first movie about 'love' (which is well done in the first movie) gets completely scrapped for a 'Drac falls in love with new character' and so the movie follows on that. The side characters in this movie just get given useless seperate storylines to follow, and there are just too many of them. But the ending just completely crashes. The entire plot of the movie is resolved by the 'heroes' dancing the Macarena... are you kidding me? This is the cheapest excuse for an ending I've ever seen. Honestly, how was this even authorised in the writing process!?! Overall the movie just tries way to hard to provide mindless entertainment, that all the potential is just completely boiled out of it. 1 star... it sucks.
