My honest review but first, let me preface by saying I’m a registered nurse living in the COVID19 “new normal “. I enjoy movies to mentally decompress and to temporarily escape reality. With that, I love movies for the interior secret messages and silent Easter eggs. This was a wonderful escape movie! A real, “What would I do in that situation?” kind of watch. I feel critics go so far left & deep into the movie to the point they don’t ACTUALLY enjoy it for what it really is - A MOVIE! I’m so glad I did NOT go with the negative reviews. I took a chance and watched for myself. I was a big fan of the TV series as a child so if you do not have the back story, you probably will not understand all the secret messages. Still a good watch tho. Only 4 stars for the 1st watch but most likely update to 5 stars after I watch again. I usually pick up on scenes or details overlooked which makes the second go-around even better. Hope this helps someone & please watch it if you just need/want a quick escapement 😊
