I would like more hands on advice on planting and garden care which is relevant to the week. I don’t want to see dahlias and banana plants in April! This week Monty planted a few token beetroot seeds and a helenium. OK, there are novices who appreciate this, but lots of us would appreciate timely advice on much more. Seeing other people’s gardens is fun and often more instructive than Monty is (!), but even these usually show gardens from late summer, when we are in the middle of unseasonably cold spring. Not very helpful or relevant. I’m fed up and disappointed.
