This is an excellent series. It is an archetypal story recalling spiritual truths: one's connection to nature as a living being; finding one's calling and place in the world, good vs evil, male and female balance in leadership (and God?), and other themes. Intelligent, other worldly, and yet touching our highest regard for the spirit intended for the world.
