The Music Man (1962 movie) is a classic musical which actually captures the original Broadway stage spirit. As a young musician at Le Conte Junior High School (Hollywood CA), I (along with my fellow classmates / band members) appeared in this Academy Award winning production as the primary River City Marching Band.
