I love the show. Not only does it provide inspiration for "rag tag" players to believe they can win. It also provides good life lessons. Episode 5 is about Evans dad. Alex is trying to explain how unreliable Rod is. I had a father I could not trust. Kids need to understand this point because if they get to "attached" to an unreliable parent, they could have a rude awakening when that parent does not keep their promise.
