My favorite part about this film is how blindingly obvious it is that its critics didn't watch it. They claim that it encourages violence and commits genocide against trans people somehow, even though 90% of the runtime consists of experts on their own side talking. The film's creator, Matt Walsh, hardly says anything (besides the interview questions) for the entire length of the film and simply allows his opponents to make themselves look like deranged morons. The RollingStone (yes, it still exists, and yes I'm surprised too) wrote a scalding review of the film only to be confronted by screenshots proving that neither the reporter nor the editor actually watched it before attacking it. To viewers with an open mind, it's an interesting and necessary film about one of the most divisive and controversial topics of modern society.
