Amazing film! Loved it so much. It was more heartwarming than anticipated. I didnt understand the purpose of Ken’s arc at all but the whole montage about womanhood left me near tears. Beautiful film with a beautiful soundtrack. Would recommend it to anybody.
The only ones upset about this film and giving it a low rating are those upset because what they’ve remained ignorant about on the perils of womanhood was shoved in their face and it guilts them to face it. They’ve finally seen men treated how women are being and have been treated like for so long in cinema; as stepping stones for the male character’s arc. Just look at Oppenheimer , the obviously more ‘manly’ film. The first scene where a woman is properly focused on is a sex scene. If that doesn’t tell you enough i don't know what will. Cry a little harder.
