I found this movie to be hauntingly emotional both times I saw it (2008 & 2020). The older you are the more you can appreciate it as you know more about life from your own experience. I love Leonardo in this and The Aviator. He and Winslet do not appear to be acting but have become their characters. This movie convinced me that they are truly special actors. Aside from that, everybody in this was exceptional and blended perfectly. One takeaway for me is the theme that you face many choices in life and you have to decide the best choices in the hope of finding fulfillment and happiness.
