One of the powerful films that conveyed the idea of revolution. This kind of concept is still relevant to this day. This movie was released on the same year Thalappavu was released that swept the Kerala Film Awards. Both these films are based on the concept of Revolution and Revolutionaries, but Gulmohar deserves more as it is better than Thalappavu. This underrated masterpiece should not be among those forgotten ones. Hope it will follow a cult status in the near future.
