Mindful of Veterans Day, I was anticipating a movie honoring the Normandy Landings on D-Day. Instead, it was a very sick "bait & switch" that quickly devolved into a third-rate "standard sci-fi horror movie" with evil Nazi scientists in the basement morphing captured local citizens into zombies with comic-book-quality super-human powers. Lazy writing throughout, and virtually every plot twist was yet another tired cliche, coupled with endless, nonsensical, over-the-top gore. Several people walked out in disgust at this total waste of money. As a Veteran, I left feeling truly angry, disgusted and totally ripped off.
