I struggle with this Shae as a designer. While she has some good standard execution, her actual vision and final product are lacking. I never feel that she has anything new or ground breaking to offer the design world. Overall, it feels as though someone curated a Pinterest board of very on trend designs, without every bringing any originality. In several designs, it was evident she had no sense of individuality or consideration for the history of a home. I wanted so badly to like her as a designer, but as the season went on, I was bored, underwhelmed, and at times horrified by the choices she made (lookin' at you dark green shaker cabinets in the LA mid-century home - every designer screamed at their TVs when she dropped that bomb)... I would much rather see more boundary-pushing designs, but unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be something she can bring to the table.
