I have now read most of the reviews. I have not read the books, but will keep watching until season 1 finishes then read. I have to admit to finding it confusing and it took 3 episodes for it to become clear. Why are we in Scotland, who the hell is that person, OMG she is killing ravens! but I have finally put it all together and feel invested enough to keep going. Having said that. I have never watched a series/movie that does justice to the book. Some get close, but not completely
