What a beautiful and simple drama this is. So refreshing to see a great story with great acting!! Being in the medical profession I totally empathise with how Gu Wei felt!!! Just loved the whole thing and look forward to watching it again!! Highly recommend watching. 👏👏

Brilliant all round and agree at first some of characters look very similar so a wee bit co fusing but you soon get to grips with it. I hope Chinese historical dramas always keep to their in depth story line rather than fast acting western dramas - they are a revelation and just draw you into the story. Love them😘😘

One of the best dramas I have ever watched - however - the ending was PANTS!!! How would anyone be as selfish as to throw themselves off a cliff when so many people sacrificed themselves to save them!!! I couldn’t believe the ending and hope there will be a series 2 to show that that was a nasty dream and she is still alive!!! That said all the characters and action g were incredible!!

This drama for me is a complete escape from normal fast moving western culture TV. I have stopped watching news and tv as I find them too boring and repetitive. This drama in particular is enthralling, beautiful and different! I have watched it 8 times!!! Never done that before. I now watch other Asian dramas as I love them and the suspense they hold and the way they go into detail about what’s happening and why!! I would recommend this to anyone - the acting is absolutely superb. The main characters are brilliant. I will probably watch it again and again. Keep making historical dramas like this for they are escapism. Thank you
