Waste of time in both the making of it and the watching of it. The main actors were good, just terribly miscast, stuck in a horribly adapted screenplay, and with inconsistent production. If they wanted to butcher the source material that much, just make a movie with a different title with different character names and save fans of the source material this suffering. They made the unassuming Anne into an Insta worthy beauty with a personality a la Bridget Jones, kind of hard to avoid when casting Dakota Johnson she's just too conventionally attractive. And they somehow made a handsome leading actor unattractive, seems like an odd choice in a pining romance.

Really fun and take on Barbie. Good mix of silly and serious. So fun to watch in a theater, the audience was clapping between consistent laughs. Great messages of empowerment for both women and men (I mean Barbie's and Ken's). Sincerely, Arthritis Barbie
