What a hoot! A must see for anyone who has worked in public relations and the planning and delivery of community infrastructure. Rob Sitch is fantastic as Tony, with Fisk star Kitty Flanagan superb. ABC has top comedy talent and Season 5 of Utopia doesn’t disappoint. It’s 21st century whirlwind of cringeworthy conduct that sadly is realistic of working on major government projects. What a job where you can sit around and boast about how much you earn compared to the engineers and you talk about your kids all day. The Patrick character resembles my old former female manager from Daracon who use to eat stinky tuna every lunch time and complain about all the male construction team avoiding her and she not being invited to work social functions with them. Poor lady - I reckon Utopia lacks an ageing narcissist cougar character who tries to be sexy to attract a bisexual partner at work. You could totally have some fun with that ABC if you headed to Blackheath and checked out the tacky love hearts on the community shopfront run by my former red lipstick wearing country bumpkin.
