The acting was great, the cinematography was great, the plot was great up until the half way mark and it became a watered down Hostel. For how strong it started it really ended on an unsatisfactory conclusion which dragged on 20 minutes longer than it needed to. The movie is carried by how well it was acted and produced and if it wasn’t for that I’d have felt as if my time had been wasted. Some of the scenes were generally unsettling I’ll give credit to it, but I found heaps of spaces in between scenes that left me trying to keep focus as the predictable story began unravelling.
Would I recommend it? Maybe if you’re a Horror fanatic, otherwise just go watch Hostel.
