Movie is good only in parts. Storyline looks unconvincing and the 3 heroines & the storywriter seem insecure about the weight of their roles and storyline. So skinshow galore. Esp kareena and tabu seem to bend over backwards to prove to the audience that despite age showing on their faces their bodies have not aged. Choli ke peeche kya hai was revealed in nearly every scene As tabu says a couple of times in the film, sabka samaan baahar hi rakha hai. What could have been a story about female ingenuity ended up showing them as a bunch of bumbling idiots jo khud tharki lagi. Poor diljit dosanjh was totally wasted. The tough cop mala came across as some demented person. The choli ke peeche kya hai track and kuk kuk kuk was overused to such and extent in the film that it started sounding grating.

Contrived storyline, cringeworthy script and acting. Only the 3 leading ladies, Anita Raj, Neelam and Archana Joglekar look fresh-faced and attractive.

The only unrealistic note in an otherwise sweet film was that shobana who otherwise seemed so close with Thiru and his father & grandpa did not further discuss her misgivings about Thiru's proposal to him. How come a proposal from Thiru offend or catch shobhna so off-guard that she just went incommunicado? No one in the maternal village asked Thiru's family who the young eligible lady travelling with them was? All this was too unrealistic in an otherwise heartwarming film.
