I just finished reading this book published 24 years ago and am still shocked at how so little has changed. There was no Citizens United in 2000 and yet the negative influence of dark money is a major theme. Roe was the law of the land yet a woman’s right to choose was also a major them. I would highly recommend this book just so we can remember that things have actually worsened since it was published.
