Anyone else feel that this series is incredibly boring and dull? Where is the intensity? The emotions? The acting is just horrible. Percy is bland and not sarcastic and funny like he is in the books or even original movies. Don’t even get me started on Annabeth. She’s very boring. There is no spark or fire in her. Grover is very childish. He seems even younger than Percy, even though he is apparently “actually 24.” More like actually 5. The scenes aren’t exciting, in the slightest. In fact, every scene seems longer than it needs to be and much of the dialogue is dragged out and unnecessary. I get that more of the book is in this series, but, in my opinion, they aren’t executed very well. I think I’ll finish this season just to finish it, but I’m extremely disappointed with this show. I’d rather watch the films, which is saying a lot because I didn’t enjoy them too much, either. But now I feel like the films are better.

If I could review this movie with zero stars, I would. I’m convinced I watched a different movie than you five-star reviewers. This movie was awful. The acting, the writing, and the entire plot was horrendous. I never cringed more times watching a movie in my life. Don’t waste your time! If you want to watch a decent time-loop movie, I suggest The Edge of Tomorrow, Happy Death Day, anything but this. So disappointed.
