Where do I even begin…I’ve tried several times to watch this novela and could never get into it. I finally forced myself to watch it and the storyline is good but why Ximena was chosen to play Marina/Magdalena I will never understand as her first acting role she shouldn’t have been given the lead role. There are also way to many things in this novela that are exactly like Trunfo del Amor. William in both novelas gets manipulated into thinking a child is his to keep him from his true love. They both consist of a psycho path that is infatuated with keeping William away from his true love. In both novels he professes his love in front of the Virgin and the same music is playing in the background, William also kisses the forehead, nose, then mouth of the girls playing the main lead. Honestly the producer should’ve just given the lead role to Maite Perroni if there were going to be so many similarities and she is a way better actress. I felt absolutely no connection between them and Ximena never drew me in, I never felt like she portrayed her character right.
