This is a great movie. Full stop. Though not an original concept, this is wholly an original, well-acted, well shot, perfectly paced film. I hope more young people see this instead of any next worn out franchise film.

This is a great movie. My kids thought the animation was beautiful and interesting, and while some of the humor was beyond them, they didn't care. Yes - as an adult I found the story full of tropes, and even as a liberal snowflake San Franciscan I felt Disney was literally checking boxes as they created the characters. But none of that matters because my kids thoroughly enjoyed every old story line they encountered, and new ones. Apparently they'd never heard the world on a turtle story.
