Although sometimes grammatically odd that's to be expected. This was a very well written book and explored the themes of hysteria, grief and hate with unparalleled description. I personally feel Thomas Olde Heuvelt has opened up a door that many would keep shut. I was amazed that I have related to the book as much as I have. This is a HEAVY book but I think it's one to read. I'll probably read it again but I owe it to myself to read something a bit more positive! A great ride as well as an example of the worst in all of us. Loved it, hated it and loved that I hated it.

I finished the last two hundred pages in a day and a half. The novel flows brilliantly and I'm currently having a moment to myself after such a read. Max is a fantastically in depth character and watching him progress and find conflictions to his creation is both warming and saddening.

After finishing this book today I would like to thank robin for her insight. Not only am I looking at my relationship with mother earth in a far more beautiful manner of giving. I had the epiphany that my closeted town life involved relationships I had based on a no reward no duty basis. This book has taught me to do things for others not through obligation or guilt. But through my recieval of the gift of giving. Which I've learnt is the greatest gift of all. Thank you. My reincarnation as a man with duty to all living things has brought me such joy.
