I do not appreciate the same sex marriage in a book targeting 8 year olds. I don’t feel at 8 I need to have this conversation with my son. I am supportive of same sex marriage so this isn’t a homophobic review, I just don’t want my 8 year reading such things without my knowledge. I shouldn’t have to preread kid books to know they are content appropriate for my son.
