I read a good review of this mini series on PBS. I watched it and don’t wish to denigrate the reviewer, but I don’t enjoy watching a series that begins on a sad note only to end on a much sadder note with the additional insult of an inconclusive ending. It is terribly unfortunate that some people suffer extremely horrid situations in their lives, but I see little reason to turn those experiences into entertainment.
