A lot of people are passing on this based on price point or because the lack of any real info. As a veteran gamer, I can tell you the campaign is fun, mechanics and controls work perfectly fine, and the cell-shaded look combined with the “classified” (revised) Cobra and Joe outfits make for a great experience. If you’re a Joe fan, you would do yourself a disservice to not play this. Online multiplayer is in the works, so this will be a well-rounded and fleshed out game. As it is now, there’s nothing preventing a recommendation.

This is a super-polished, flat out awesome ode to the franchise and easily the best in the series. All the familiar faces are back and it’s absolutely awesome to see them redone in the fantastic new hand-drawn art form. If you’re a SoR fan, this is a must own. Even if you just like fighting games in general, this is a must own 👍👍
