Never had I went through a novel as wonderful and enrapturing as this one. This retelling of Mahabharath from Draupadi's view point is an engaging and a must read for all the Indians who, till now had never ceased to criticize Draupadi by portraying her as the main cause of war.
This book gives some white shades to Draupadi for she had not only been robed of her clothes, but also of her dignity.
And also, this story would never have been of so significant if it weren't for the love story of Draupadi and Karna the latter, who had despised Draupadi without a second thought in one of the cruelest of ways.
