Was very anxious to see this. I lived the 1994 movie. Sadly, this version was absolutely horrible. Whoopie Goldberg was just painful to watch. She ruined the entire production. Re read the book or re watch the 1994 version, but avoid this version at all costs. 10 minutes into this and you'll thank me.
