Hmmmm…just finished this. Enjoyed the premise and story… Was it originally a BL story? So, the ‘Gangster’ …was he or his soul was gay? Or were the boys? … As this series played out I found that Friendship and it’s meaning- “ Responsibility - to Friendship, to Family And Parental —Parenting…. Are not these themes enough? That said- 8 episodes as a series length? were enough. Nicely acted -though the secretary chewed too much scenery-as is her ‘norm’ (sorry) I more or less got what I expected… An easy watch- predictably set up. And I am glad it was more about friendship and healing and not adding boy love into a soul switch—-or…..let’s go for 20 episodes and delve

Was looking forward to a series with Rain. A good start- and good action. The FL is not a favorite of mine. The Chairwoman- oh my- overacting to the hilt- The last two episodes were disjointed, melo- cheezy and the always time skip ala with this ‘a year later’ and an airport rendezvous- Tropes galore, lotsa obvious or over the top acting, kinda weak storyline, Still happy to see Rain- wish for him to have a Better Project- please

I adore both the main leads as well as many of the supporting actors. I will watch through the episodes…I am just Angry that writers always produce the Overbearing, Life Blocking, Ignorantly semi “abusive” Parent. Is this Truly the Korean Culture? And do Children who have reached the age of ‘mid thirties’ Feel the Need to Comply to such ‘Pressure(s)? I do love this Industry and am a fan of much that is produced… But I am so tired of this ‘theme’ and…if is a “truth” , it is time for the culture’s children to rebel and erase such ‘domination’ I am grateful for the teaching of my Grandparents and My Parents. But I am unhappy to see This THEME PLAYED OUT CONSTANTLY in Kdrama…😶😔
