This was a funny and entertaining ride, exactly what I expected from a Shazam movie. It was not burdened with bigger universe connections that would interfere with the plot. Acting wise, Levi and Zegler were stand outs for me. I will definitely miss this version of Shazamily if we don't see them again.

The actor's performances were generally great across the board, especially Majors & Pfeiffer. Kathryn Newton works well in the role of Cassie Lang, I would love to see more of her in the MCU. But I felt the movie was let down by its story, which did not live up to my expectations. This adaptation of MODOK was weak and didn't serve much purpose. Hope there is still the opportunity for a more comics accurate MODOK and AIM in the future. This movie also felt too much like Star Wars, not something we necessarily need in Marvel, since there's already plenty of Star Wars content.
