The movie misrepresents statistics, leaves out a significant amount of context, and oversimplifies a very complex problem to push an obvious agenda. I believe it is clear to any critical mind that many of the claims are exaggerated at best and false at worst. Unfortunately this misinformation does not allow an open an honest debate about, what I consider to be, a significant problem of overfishing (in some regions) and biodiversity in the seas.
I have seen a significant shift in Netflix documentaries in recent years where one agenda is carried without a counterargument or any balance. I wouldn't consider this to be a documentary, but rather a campaign video. This is very disappointing as I used to really enjoy documentaries on this platform.
