What an unbelievably frustrating movie. I say this because I cannot express how many times I've tortured myself repeatedly getting into situations like Manu's. Countless boys I could never have like I wanted. That cold, piercing rejection just stings to watch, but it's nice to see Felipe showing some compassion, and ultimately a silver lining, which is something I never got. I was expecting more skin and more traditionally gay fodder, but instead I got this visceral, devastating, beautiful, and all too real picture of what it's like to be sexually and romantically confused, infatuated, excited, and just head over heels for someone you maybe cannot have.
