I found the documentary about Pamela Lee Anderson to be fascinating and gained a respect for her. First, she appears to be a likable person. Second, the part about the stolen video is really a very dark story. The injustice done in that is beyond words. As a woman, the fact that she was shamed and humiliated in the depositions reflects the sexism that is always so pervasive in our society. Shameful. However, she was strong enough and had enough dignity and respect to put hers kids and herself first. She stuck to her values. No justice was served in that whole case. Her sex life and Playboy was a weak argument. The argument was that her property was stolen, her private life invaded, she did not consent to the video being released and more should have been done to prosecute those who stole and took advantage of this. Finally, love that she did Broadway in her 50s. She seems to be a hopeful type of person and that is refreshing to see.
