Overall I enjoyed the DLC. The final battle was probably the hardest one I have encountered in the game and required strategizing
I have read quite a few of the reviews and would join those saying just play the game for what it is. As an older female player who plays on "normal" these are some of my responses to the people who aren't happy with the game for what ever their pet peeve is:
*I only had one glitch, the screen froze for a few seconds once. (Just want to mention I have had to start new play though twice because of glitches in the early months of the main game due to glitches)
*No issues with the download
*I had Sam as my active companion because I was in his story arc but switched to Andreja. I felt that her dialog/input was about right. The story isn't about her, she wasn't really suppose to be there. But it could be an interesting story later to get her home
*Driving what I call the dune-buggy. If I can do it anyone can. Took me a bit to figure out why I kept going backwards but once I sorted that out traveled all over the place. I'm really glad they built the capability to scan while traveling in.
* I have to agree that Dazra had a Telvanni feel
*It's a DLC, I wasn't expecting new ship parts or new weapons, I would have liked to see new furnishings related to Varuun culture, but have checked to see if any are available
The main quest seemed to have "puzzles" to work out in how to get past something, which is okay.
I think the story was interesting and reflects changing culture and the impact that changes can bring. I don't want to give any spoilers but think that story makes sense in the context. Whenever change happens assessments need to be made. Where do the changes take us as a whole? Are the changes uplifting and help us grow? Or is it leading to dogmatic retrenching to authoritarian subjection?
