Some people just play a few hours and abandon it but as someone who fully plays through a lot of games and stops to truly appreciate them, this game is more than what you see on the surface. From the bioms to the sound design and soundtrack (use headphones!). If you want specifics i beg you to watch Angyl's video on YouTube and give the game a chance because you're truly missing out.
